International Music Camp

17 June – 29 July 2007 (2 weeks)

Scholarships include the full cost of tuition and accommodation. Scholarship winners will be required to submit further applications (but not audition recordings) to the International Music Camp by 1 February 2007. Scholarship winners will be responsible for all travel costs to and from the Music Camp.

Regulations & Procedure

• Candidates should be between the ages of 14–18 at the time of the Music Camp.
• Only students of current and paid-up members of the SASMT are allowed to enter.
• Adjudication will be done by cassette tape or compact disc. It is in the candidate’s interest to ensure that the recordings are of superior quality.
• Candidates should record a programme of his/her choice, not exceeding 20 minutes, representing at least three different style periods.
• The adjudicators reserve the right to make no award(s) if the standard is not satisfactory.
